“Ruedas” is a new appropriation support and community link for placement and performance in the public space. The large scale of the ensemble and the possibility to house or support a human body implies new forms of relationship and community interaction. “Ruedas” is a container and support, surface and volume, skin and body. “Ruedas” is a support to reconsider links and everyday conducts, to integrate and socialize in a positive mode. “Ruedas” enhances the public realm, adding a new poetic and functional dimension. The user can discover himself or herself from another place, encountering others in a new material scale. “Ruedas” is an excuse to gather informally in an undetermined space and to update old rites of communication in a new creative form. To enjoy an afternoon in a plaza with friends To rest after enjoying the theatre or cinema To appropriate the ensemble in freedom and reinvent new uses To lie down and look at the sky and the clouds To look at the sky and see the treetops To look at the sky and see the birds.
