Arenas with backrest seating system

The Arenas seating system with backrest presents on its surface a new skins. This development is inspired, for its seat, in the footprint left by water in the sand, thus generating a rough and textured skin but soft to the touch. The openwork on the backrest is inspired by the reflection of sunlight on the Rio de la Plata. Pairable in two or more units, this system is designed to scale the elements according to the boarding landscape. The edge changes its shape from curved to straight, which generates a morphological dialogue between the paired units.

Material

Precast concrete with added color or natural concrete color. Backrest made of a perforated, folded and welded aluminum sheet. Painted white with thermosetting polyester paint.
